Luke Campbell is a follower of Christ, a husband, father (of three boys!), church member, evangelist, church security member and a U. S. Army combat veteran with a combined 10 years of military experience in which he served as a Tanker, a Combat Engineer and Small Arms Repairer.

Luke is also a certified USCCA firearms Instructor, teaching USCCA's unique system in a multidisciplinary approach to education that combines technical and hands-on learning. He has obtained a Gunsmith License through Sonoran Desert Institute while studying abroad in Afghanistan.

After being saved (born-again by the supernatural power received through the Gospel!) he has found that sin is the greatest threat to anyone's ultimate safety and his goal is to see his students gain, both spiritually and physically, the tactical and technical proficiency they need to survive in the real world! He has assuredly learned that life is short and death is sure: sin is our greatest curse but the blood of the crucified One - Christ - is the glorious cure!

Luke was subsequently led to establish a defensive training center that is first and foremost a champion of God's Word, applying His truth to the realm of firearms defense.

He has found that many defensive training organizations do not incorporate the spiritual aspect of defense and combat, which he believes is - by far - much more important! One may say, "That's what church is for." However, Luke does not believe that Truth is to be relegated to church. We don't live in church. It is definitely a training ground for spiritual warfare, but we are to primarily apply what we have learned in the world. We need to understand how real life survival situations are actually meant to be interwoven with spiritual survival.

It is good to be prepared, but it best to be properly balanced in our preparedness.

Luke would ask the seasoned defense instructors: what is the likelihood of your students being physically attacked?

Would you be honest and admit that those we train may have a greater chance of being struck by lightning than to be physically attacked?

Yet all of us have a 100% chance of being attacked spiritually today in the temptation to sin.

Are we prepared more for the guaranteed threat than we are the one that is least likely to occur?

This doesn't mean you shouldn't prepare for a physical attack if you have the ability to.

However, due to the high likelihood that you will be spiritually attacked multiple times during the average day, Luke believes that whatever training we engage in should include interdisciplinary components which include protecting the heart:

"Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life." ~ Proverbs 4:23
